Dreaming about a Car - Handmade Doll

This doll has become a present for a girl called Irene. Recently Irene has become a serious businesswoman, boss. Along with her friend who ordered this handmade doll we decided to add a note of light-mindedness to her image. Her friend said that Irene wanted to buy a car and we added this wish to the doll's image as you can see in the pictures :)

Julia - Handmade Portrait Doll

Here's yet another one of the handmade portrait dolls made by me. I did my best to make it as close to the photo of the girl called Julia as possible. It was especially difficult to make the boots for the doll. The soles of the boots I made from plastic and the remaining parts from fleece. I'm satisfied with the result, but next time I'm going to try to make boots from leather. Why didn't I think about this in the first place?!

As I was told the doll resembles "the original" :) to a very great extent, but unfortunately there won't be a joint phone - Julia is a little bit shy :)

Handmade Doll - Blonde in Pink (or Tourist)

One very nice girl asked me to sew a special gift for her good friends, girls that work at a tourist company named "MagAvia-Service". In the company office there is "the pink corner" and everything in that Pink Corner is pink: pink paper clips, pink scissors, pink stickers and even a pink notebook.

Having thought about the idea of the gift I created such handmade doll: a blonde tourist girl... in PINK! :) with a suitcase full of various stuff that she will need in her enjoyable trips. Also there's a label on the suitcase with the name of the company that organized her trip :)

As I was later told, the blonde girl doll in pink fitted into the Pink Corner ideally and has been fixing the eyes of the company clients since she appeared.

Missing Summer (Handmade Doll)

We have a real winter now with snow and frost. I am such a girl which can't imagine her life without the sun and its warm and the energy it gives. So I'm feeling myself not so good in this Winter Kingdom.

Perhaps that's the reason why I've been recently sewing red-haired summer girls like this one with an apple :)

Pippi Longstocking - Handmade Doll

Three weeks ago a new children's footwear shop "Pippi" was opened in Salihorsk, Belarus. This "Pippi Longstocking" handmade doll became the symbol of the shop.

It's worth noting that this is my first doll sewed in such a style. The idea of a doll like this I had been nurtured for a long time, luckily the owners of the shop, a young couple, Alexander and Angela, asked me to sew the doll.
I liked the doll very much much, so do my clients :)

Handmade Dolls for Twin Sisters

I was asked to sew dolls for twin sisters. There were two requirements: dolls should be very much alike and one of them should wear pink clothes while another should be in blue...
As I was told later, the girls liked the dolls very much.
This is the best assessment of my art.

Ballerina in White (Handmade Doll)

At last an opportunity arose to sew a real Ballerina Handmade Doll (well... Santa doesn't count :))
To sew it I used a pattern of Korean dolls. People often call them textile Barbie dolls, because they are very elegant and delicate.
The occasion for sewing this doll was the birthday of a girl who professionally dances a ballet. Her mother ordered this Ballerina Doll for her. She wanted the doll to be very gentle and, above all, snow-white.

Girlfriends (Handmade Dolls)

Yet in September I was asked to create two dolls for two best girlfriends Ivanna and Helen who live in Kiev, Ukraine. Moreover, the dolls had to be not just ordinary handmade dolls but they had to look alike the girls.
I was given quite details descriptions of the girls: their characters, their interests and passions, their professions and hobbies, what clothes they like to wear, etc. Among other details, it turned out that Ivanna had a small pet dog, called Poolya (Bullet). It had to be with the girl dolls too.

Helen
She's a cheerful and a little bit crazy, talkative and humorous. She's a designer and seamer. She likes to wear dresses, hats and boots. She's also red-haired, that's her Alter Ego.

Ivanna
She's a cheerful but a little thoughtful. She's a photographer. She likes to wear trousers (capris, capri pants), striped shirts (striped vests) and shoes. As I said she's got a pet, Poolya.
