Minty - now it is the name of this nice handmade Tilda doll. It was given to a young girl as a birthday present. The girl likes teddy bears too, that's why Minty holds her little soft friend, Snowball.

Scarecrow with a bird (Tilda toys)

This "A scarecrow with a bird" handmade toy composition now lives at one very wealthy man's. They often say that people like him "have everything" :) So, now the Scarecrow stares out of one of the windows in his house and scares away any evil :)

Daniusik and Nikitka - Handmade Sleepy Angels for Boys (Tilda Dolls)

I was asked to sew a pair of handmade sleepy angels for two boys: Danila and Nikita. Danila has just had an important event in his life - he was baptised. So the sleepy angles with the "Daniusik" label on his pillow became a present to the boy for this event. And the second angel ("Nikitka") is for his brother Nikita.

These three handmade sleepy Tilda angels became farewell presents to three girls
Those three girls changed their jobs and left the firm where they had been working and their good friend asked me to sew the angel dolls for them.

Tilda Ships for a Boy (Handmade Tilda Toys)

I've had an experience of making Tilda Ships. This time a young woman asked me to sew two Tilda ships to decorate her son's room. The interior of the room is made in the marine style, that's why my ships fits perfectly into it.
The ships are decorated with sea shells which my daughters collected last summer on the shores of the Black sea in Bulgaria :)

Handmade Scarecrow Doll (Tilda Doll)

While preparing to the Mlyn Handmade Christmas Fair that took place in December, 2011 in Minsk, Belarus, I sewed these two handmade Scarecrow Tilda dolls. I planned they would be used as decorations for flowerpots with big plants like palms, ficuses etc.

Although I hadn't articulated this thought they were bought exactly for this purpose - a lady bought these two funny guys as gifts for her two friends whose hobbies are to grow pot plants (house plants).

P.S. I made myself the stands for these scarecrows, this is my debut. I bought a board by myself, sawed it by myself, burnished it by myself and asked my husband to drill holes for their feet by myself :)

A Doll with a Pink Hare and a Sleepy Tilda Angel (Handmade Toys)

These two (or three :)) toys now lives at their new master's place, a little three year old girl.

Expecting a Baby - 2 (a Pregnant Tilda Doll)

I didn't have a chance to sew a Tilda doll for quite a long time. Finally I got a request for such a doll - a loving husband ordered this pregnant Tilda doll for his wife who's expecting a baby.
I sewed it in a burst of inspiration perhaps because I know how it feels like to expect a baby.

A Gothic Angel (Tilda Doll)

It's not an ordinary angel. My first thought about this Tilda doll was - it is an Egyptian Angel, but when my husband saw it, he said "Goth... a Gothic Angel"...
At first I was surprised by his words, but the more I looked at this Tilda doll the more I thought this name suited her.

Karina - a Sleepy Tilda Angel for a little girl

Thanks to my participation in the Mlyn Handmade Fair I got an order to sew a sleepy Tilda angel for a 3-year-old girl whose name was Karina. Karina's father had been looking for a toy to hang it over her bed - to guard Karina's dreams, so I told him that a sleepy angel is the right choice.
Here's the sleepy angel I crafted for Karina. For some reason this Tilda angel-girl wanted to become red-haired and have a mouth (which is not typical of Tilda dolls). I also made a nightcap for her but the capricious Tilda toy didn't want to try it on.

The Flower Bear left us at the fair; he found a new owner - a nice little girl :)
The other two became friends of my daughters. Now my little princesses go to bed with them and gently call them "Teddiki" (Teddies).

There was a big event in Minsk last week - the Mlyn (Mill) fair of handmade crafts. It took place at the National Exhibition Centre BelExpo, May 11 -15.

I was very glad to present my textile Tilda dolls at it.
