Daniusik and Nikitka - Handmade Sleepy Angels for Boys (Tilda Dolls)

I was asked to sew a pair of handmade sleepy angels for two boys: Danila and Nikita. Danila has just had an important event in his life - he was baptised. So the sleepy angles with the "Daniusik" label on his pillow became a present to the boy for this event. And the second angel ("Nikitka") is for his brother Nikita.

Sleepy Angels (Handmade Tilda Dolls)

These three handmade sleepy Tilda angels became farewell presents to three girls
Those three girls changed their jobs and left the firm where they had been working and their good friend asked me to sew the angel dolls for them.

Here they are:

A Doll with a Pink Hare and a Sleepy Tilda Angel (Handmade Toys)

These two (or three :)) toys now lives at their new master's place, a little three year old girl.

P.S. My customers liked the Hare character very much, so it'll be appearing quite often at my blog :)

A Gothic Angel (Tilda Doll)

It's not an ordinary angel. My first thought about this Tilda doll was - it is an Egyptian Angel, but when my husband saw it, he said "Goth... a Gothic Angel"...
At first I was surprised by his words, but the more I looked at this Tilda doll the more I thought this name suited her.
What do you think? ))

Karina - a Sleepy Tilda Angel for a little girl

Thanks to my participation in the Mlyn Handmade Fair I got an order to sew a sleepy Tilda angel for a 3-year-old girl whose name was Karina. Karina's father had been looking for a toy to hang it over her bed - to guard Karina's dreams, so I told him that a sleepy angel is the right choice.
Here's the sleepy angel I crafted for Karina. For some reason this Tilda angel-girl wanted to become red-haired and have a mouth (which is not typical of Tilda dolls). I also made a nightcap for her but the capricious Tilda toy didn't want to try it on.

Spring Tilda Angel Doll or How I Became a Fairy

One upon a time there was a girl Nina living in a Russian town. She dreamt of to be given a Tilda doll...
She wrote out her wish on a site where Fairies live who fulfil good girls' wishes. This site is devoted to Tilda toys and a game called "Wishes come true" is held on it. Turning over pages of the topic devoted to this game I read Nina's wish and decided to fulfil it. Thus I took part in this fairy game and, as a result, became a Fairy :)

Here we are - a lovely spring Tilda girl wearing a hat with an umbrella in her hands went to Russia to Nina Sudakova...

Tilda Lady with a Dog or Fruitgarden Angel crafted by me

Not so long ago all Tilda fans have been looking forward to the new "Tildas Atelier" book by Tone Finnanger. Finally it came out. One of the new Tilda models in this book was so called Fruitgarden Angel. At first I was wondering why everybody was so excited about this doll. Why is this angel better than the others? And I made up my mind never to craft it. But... As they say: never say never.
My husband's former boss couldn't decide what to give his sister for her birthday and asked me whether I could make something special for her. I thought what doll would suit a respectable woman in her forties... and the image of this new Tilda angel came to my mind. To make it more respectable I decided to add a little dog to the composition and make such a lovely hairdo.

So here she is:

The Spirit of Spring (my spring Tilda toys) Part II

The presence of the Spring is becoming more and more evident. The sun is shining, snow is melting and nature is waking up. And I'm feeling all these movements: the air around me is filled with positive fluids, my soul is singing.
Thanks to this cheerful mood I made these Tilda girls:

Sleepy Tilda-Angels

I fell in love with them at first sight. These sweet little beings radiate such warmth and tenderness, so I decided that my little daughters should certainly have such dream-keepers. Now, the red-haired Tilda angel guards my younger Uljana’s dreams, and the fair-haired one in red looks after my elder daughter, Alesia.

And this lovely couple flew away to a nursery of two nice children, Dasha and Misha. I believe these angels bring happiness to those children.

The Beginning...

Once upon a time I was browsing through the pages of my favourite family site. Suddenly I encountered a topic with an interesting title Tilda dolls. I was intrigued by the title not to mention my indigenous curiosity, so I couldn't miss it. I followed the link and...

How could I have lived and hadn't known about these marvellous dolls?!!!
As always nowadays the Internet came to rescue. Having read lots of blogs and sites I went shopping and bought the necessary fabrics and other little things that as I foresaw I would need to make my first Tilda girl. Without any further delays I took up the needle and started the creation of this baby...

Here is she, my brunette Carmelita
