Boss - Handmade Doll

I was very interested when I got this order mainly because this was supposed to be a portrait handmade doll.

It was the first time I had drawn the face of a doll to be similar to the face in a photo (before this I had only drawn... well... just faces :) )

And I'm happy to inform you that this first try was successful! But unfortunately, I can't present a photo of the man to compare, I was asked not to do it.

So, please welcome, the Boss, the head of one the famous companies in Belarus, a comprehensively developed person who likes snowboarding so much! ))

This "A scarecrow with a bird" handmade toy composition now lives at one very wealthy man's. They often say that people like him "have everything" :) So, now the Scarecrow stares out of one of the windows in his house and scares away any evil :)

Handmade Toy: Inspired By Child's Drawing

This is an experimental handmade toy.
A friend of mine showed me this picture that her daughter drew and asked me whether I could sew such a fantastic animal.

Of course I agreed - it's always interesting to try to make something entirely new and I wanted to make the girl happy.

As I was later told (after the present had been given), it is difficult to put into words how the girl was happy.
So the experiment was successful!

These two handmade toy ships and a nice snail toy became an adornment of one boy's room.
Our (my and my daughters) efforts didn't go to waste - the seashells we collected last summer at the seaside suited nicely.

Daniusik and Nikitka - Handmade Sleepy Angels for Boys (Tilda Dolls)

I was asked to sew a pair of handmade sleepy angels for two boys: Danila and Nikita. Danila has just had an important event in his life - he was baptised. So the sleepy angles with the "Daniusik" label on his pillow became a present to the boy for this event. And the second angel ("Nikitka") is for his brother Nikita.

Missing Summer (Handmade Doll)

We have a real winter now with snow and frost. I am such a girl which can't imagine her life without the sun and its warm and the energy it gives. So I'm feeling myself not so good in this Winter Kingdom.

Perhaps that's the reason why I've been recently sewing red-haired summer girls like this one with an apple :)

Hare Glove Doll (Handmade Toy)

Not long ago I was asked to sew a glove doll for a very little boy that "can talk" :). I liked the idea, because it is always interesting to try sewing something new. For inspiration I started browsing on the internet. I found and processed a lot of information and finally I made up my mind - I decided to sew a Japanese-style talking glove doll. Here's the hare doll I sewed:

It is possible to unfasten the carrot, so it is more interesting for the baby to play with the toy. Also the Hare has a pocket on his belly for some surprises.

... a woman said and gave them as a present to the man who was her first love and whom she hadn't seen for years. These pyjama hares became a reminder of those marvellous days they had spent together.

I sewed hare toys like these for the first time and worry whether everything would be all right with them. Fortunately, my worries were unfounded - both the romantic woman and her first love liked the hare toys very much.

Handmade Cow and Sheep Toys

These handmade toys are very popular among my customers. I wonder what people like most: their nice big eyes or the way they smell (they are tinted and have a flavour of cinnamon and coffee). Probably, people like these two qualities combined in the toys.
I think that's why these toys are so popular and people believe a toy like one of these can be an original and memorable present.

I don't know why but toy horses like these always look a little bit sad.
Nevertheless people like them very much. Perhaps their simplicity and naivety win over all hearts.
